Katie Coeyman

As a Tax and Estate Planning Attorney with Schechter’s Advanced Design team, Katie provides clients and their advisors with creative and effective planning designs and strategies.

Prior to joining Schechter, Katie worked with law firms in Georgia and South Carolina and advised high-net-worth clients in the areas of tax, wealth transfer and estate planning. Katie graduated from the University of Georgia School of Law in 2018 and received her LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Alabama School of Law in 2021. Prior to attending law school, Katie graduated from Clemson University with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy.

Katie currently resides in her hometown of Charleston, South Carolina. In her spare time, she enjoys golfing, cooking, and traveling to see friends and family.
