Phillip Adsit

Phillip Adsit is a Vice President of Schechter Private Capital (SPC), where Schechter makes direct investments into high-growth private companies. In this role, Phillip is responsible for deal sourcing, due diligence, deal structuring, industry relationships, and market opportunity identification.

Prior to joining Schechter, Philip worked at CSC Leasing Company where he led the underwriting, due diligence, and structuring of CapEx financing for venture-backed, middle market, and public companies. He also worked as an Investment Banking Associate at Harris Williams where he focused on sell-side M&A transactions within the Business Services group and as an Associate at Bluestem Asset Management, assisting in evaluating long/short equity hedge fund managers and co-investment opportunities. Additional experiences include working at Cambridge Associates and Ameriprise Financial Services.  

Phillip holds an MBA from UNC Kenan-Flagler and a BS in business from Virginia Tech. Phillip is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter holder. Phillip grew up in south Florida and currently lives in Richmond, Virginia with his wife Alexandra and two young children. When not working,  Phillip enjoys reading, the outdoors, and spending time with family and friends.
