The Advisor Associate position at Schechter is ideal for an individual looking to pursue a career in wealth management and gain direct
experience by working with our top advisors. This role ensures a WOW client experience with a high-level focus on prospects and current
clients. The Advisor Associate role is on a career path to become an Advisor.

Essential Job Functions

• Project management, prioritization administration and the ability to move cases along on behalf of the advisors
• Ability to communicate progress and further actions to internal team members, move a case through the internal process all the while keeping the client/prospect fully informed and managing their expectations
• Desire and ability to quickly learn our insurance strategies and wealth solutions to determine the client environment they are best suited to be used
• Prepare and review client performance reports
• Design solutions and prepare proposals for client and prospects under the direction of the advisor in connection with assistance from our analytics team
• Partake in client meetings as an observer to help determine best strategies/solutions for the development of comprehensive wealth management programs
• Assist with advisors’ business development efforts
• Manage and maintain sensitive client information in company CRM
• As needed, assist our analysts with prospect specific wealth analysis
• Pursue personal and professional development via individual study and continuing-education courses which can include pursuit of Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation

Skills / Experience

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in a finance related field
• Knowledge of investment industry along with a robust intellectual curiosity to understand complex financial products and legal concepts
• Life and health insurance license – it is preferred you have these licenses already; however, if not, it is required one obtain such upon hire. The cost of licensing and fees will be reimbursed when successfully completed during the assigned time-frame.
• FINRA Series 65 preferred, or to be obtained with one year of service. The cost of licensing and fees will be reimbursed when successfully completed during the assigned time-frame.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
• Acute analytical skills to evaluate complex financial products
• Ability to achieve diverse relationships within a team and cross-functionally
• Strong communicator demonstrated through clear written and oral communication along with active listening
• Enthusiasm and high level of accountability as the company’s culture is based on meeting our clients’ need and exceeding their expectations
