This position is responsible for educating and influencing other advisors (life insurance and/or investment advisors) on the life insurance capabilities and service offerings of Schechter. Schechter, for decades, has been recognized as one of the most successful and sophisticated life insurance advisory practices in the country. Over the past seven years, Schechter has built out a Strategic Partnership Platform to share with other professionals. The platform provides Schechter’s industry leading intellectual capital, marketing, product design, advanced planning, premium financing, and client service processes. Strategic Partners who bring our services to their clients, often opt to share revenue, while others simply prefer to refer the business to us.

Schechter has created relationships with numerous institutions that would like to promote Schechter to their advisor base. This position will educate these advisors, build trust and relationships to secure a Strategic Partner. This position will then be the advisors’ main contact at Schechter. This position will have the full support of our advanced design team, analysts, underwriting advocates, and service team to help win and service business from the advisor
and their clients.


• Build relationships, trust and confidence with prospective Strategic Partners (other life insurance professionals and/or financial advisors)
• Be an Expert on our insurance strategies and designs
• Be a liaison between Strategic Partners and Schechter’s internal team
• Host educational & marketing events to build relationships with new leads and developed partners
• Travel is required to build relationships, attend industry events, and meet with the strategic partners and, at times, their clients


• Strong understanding of life insurance products, designs, applications
• Business development experience


• Life/Health Insurance – If not already licensed, must be taken and passed successfully within 60 days


• Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly, confident and professional manner
• Intellectual curiosity for understanding complex financial products
• Able to explain complicated concepts in simple terms to educate other financial professionals
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently with a high level of efficiency
• Exceptional level of accuracy and attention to detail
