We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, technical individual that would like to implement, oversee, and ultimately manage all financial technology systems that we use for our investment clients. This would include assisting current team members in implementing our new performance reporting & billing software, integrating with our CRM, and evaluating current & future software capabilities and implementations. Schechter’s goal is to offer a suite of best-in-class technology solutions for our clients while providing a white-glove service experience. This individual will be an integral part of managing all financial software. Please note, this is not a client-facing position.

Essential Job Functions

• Help implement Black Diamond as a software for financial reporting and billing with the current team in place
• Maintain ongoing system maintenance once Black Diamond is fully integrated and functional
• Explore full capabilities of current software suite and integration possibilities with new products
• Creating and designing client reports for quarterly and ad hoc distribution
• Integrate financial systems with each other and Microsoft Dynamics (our CRM platform)
• Work with multiple data feeds and organize, rearrange, and reconcile to ensure accuracy with minimal errors
• Respond to requests for information and access relevant files
• Comply with data integrity and security policies
• Retrieve data from the data base or electronic files as requested
• Perform data integrity research, troubleshooting, and report configuration
• Actively seek out and recognize discrepancies
• Communicate effectively with vendors as well as internal and external clients
• Check source documents and completed work for accuracy and correct data where necessary
• Obtain further information for incomplete documents

Required Skills

• Exceptional level of accuracy and excellent attention to detail
• Incredibly proficient computer skills with strengths in Excel & other Microsoft products
• Ability to deal with large data sets and data feeds from multiple sources and compile into a software system with minimal error
• Strong organization and time management skills; must be able to establish priorities and execute them with minimal assistance
• Able to handle multiple projects/tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines
• Problem solving – with emphasis on analytical and critical reasoning
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Discretion/confidentiality is a must in this position
• Exemplary written and verbal communication skills
• Familiarity with performance reporting software


• 4-year college degree preferably in Business, Technology, or related field
• 2-4 years of professional experience using financial technology for client facing reports or solutions
• Familiarity with wealth management and personal investments
• Experience with investment performance reporting and software which may include, but not limited to- Black Diamond*, Microsoft Dynamics*, Orion, Addepar, Advent, Right Capital, Tamarac, eMoney, MoneyGuidePro (*denotes current software that Schechter uses – experience in these would be a big plus)
