Our company is looking to grow and we need an experienced, motivated recruiter from the wealth management industry to help us. The ideal candidate will implement sourcing and recruiting strategies that meet immediate and long-term needs by leveraging innovative technologies and targeted outreach strategies to attract the best available talent to build our candidate pipeline.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in designing our overall recruiting strategy and implementation of such
• Meet with managers and/or executives to discuss staffing needs
• Collaborate with our marketing team to create/improve job postings and create recruitment materials
• Provide information about our company opportunities and benefits to places that may have potential candidates
• Maintain a rapport and act as the point of contact for any resources we consider a potential place to find recruits
• Use sources (some listed below–this is not an exhaustive list) to recruit potential candidates:
– Join professional organization networking group(s) related to our business and the meetings and functions of such
– Attend industry-related and other relevant events
– Professional social networking websites
– Postings and ad placements on niche websites
– Search job sites for potential recruits
– Data mining and resume screening
– Ongoing candidate pipeline, metric creation and campaign development
– Direct recruitment
• Review resumes and analyze them
• Interview facilitation –work with the administrative team, as appropriate, to schedule interviews as needed and, if appropriate, to manage candidate
travel schedule and details for such
• Interview candidates, using reliable recruiting tools and selection methods
• Assess potential applicants for their relevant knowledge, experience, training, skills, aptitudes, and soft skills
• Provide recruiting reports
• Build relationships with candidates
• Monitor job offers and current compensation
• Recommend any new policies or procedures that may benefit our company

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• At least 3 years previous work experience as a recruiter – can be as an in-house recruiter or a recruiter at a staffing agency specializing in wealth management
• 4-year bachelor’s degree
• Passion for the wealth/finance industry
• Excellent communication skills
• Comfortable working with others
• Strong decision-making skills along with good negotiation skills
• Experience with different selection processes, such as reference checks and phone interviews
• Experience with Human Resource Information Systems or Human Resource Management Systems
• May involve some light travel
