Karen Scott, MBA is a Senior Investment Advisor working closely with her clients to provide comprehensive wealth management services
She has over 27 years of investment management experience as an Advisor and as a Portfolio Manager. Prior to joining Schechter, she spent over 20 years as a Senior Advisor at Coe Capital Management. She also served on the CCM Investment Committee and as their Chief Compliance Officer. Prior to Coe Capital, Karen managed Trust and Advisory portfolios within Private Banking and Trust at the First National Bank of Chicago (a predecessor bank to J.P Morgan.)
Karen received her Bachelor’s degree from Indiana University and obtained a Master’s in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and Portfolio Management from DePaul University. The University acknowledged Karen’s academic excellence by inducting her into Delta Mu Delta, the National Honor Society for Business Administration.
Karen and her husband Robert live in a northern suburb of Chicago, where she is a member of the Board of Zoning Appeals. Karen enjoys spending time with family and friends, travel, the outdoors, and reading.
