The Client Service Advisor is a broad-spectrum critical thinker who manages multiple ongoing requests from various sources and prioritizes efficiently to support our clients and advisors. This individual has unparalleled organizational skills and attention to detail. They can anticipate client and advisor needs while utilizing various platforms and information sources. Each day and case are unique and require the ability to understand and manage many diverse requests and timelines. The Client Service Advisor is very proactive, has a strong sense of urgency and responsiveness, and works well both independently and with a team. Creating a prompt, and exceptionally positive service experience for our clients is the number one priority.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Be the first and last line of defense related to firm clients’ welfare while assisting investment Advisors in providing the highest level of service during all stages of the relationship
Possess a thorough understanding of the servicing requirements of investment and retirement planning products, as well as a basic understanding of investment and retirement planning concepts, and related income tax and estate planning strategies
Provide service to clients professionally by responding timely to both regular and varied account-related inquiries via electronic means, written correspondence, telephone or in person
Open, close and maintain investment accounts
Help clients to transfer funds, process money movements for qualified and non-qualified accounts, facilitate securities and mutual fund trades, and update/send out monthly and quarterly asset, performance, or tax information reports
Identify issues requiring instant elevation to the Operations Manager, Investment Advisors, or Chief Compliance Officer
Assist with overall SIA team workload, projects, and firm initiatives
Participate in best practices for firm procedures and compliant record-keeping
Maintain the integrity of client database and electronic files (CRM and custodian records)
Various other duties as assigned by the Investment Advisors or Investments Operations Manager
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:
High School Diploma or G.E.D.
At least 3 years professional experience in financially oriented field is preferred (insurance, securities, corporate finance, banking)
Fidelity Wealthscape platform
REQUIRED SKILLS
Strong computer skills with strength in MS Office Tools for creating client presentations and spreadsheets
Strong intellectual curiosity for understanding complex financial products and legal/business concepts
Strong organizational and time management skills; must be able to establish priorities and execute them with minimal assistance
Exceptional level of accuracy and attention to detail
Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly and professional manner
Team and results oriented
